Celebrity festive tipples deliver on Christmas cheer

This festive season, some famous names have collaborated with a few well-known drink companies to bring their own versions of some firm favourites. Here are just a few to tickle your tastebuds this Christmas:

Captain Sir Tom Moore’s charity gin

Gin has increasingly become one of the most popular drinks of recent times, and national hero Captain Sir Tom Moore, along with Otterbeck Distillery in Yorkshire, have proudly announced a newly released gin. All proceeds from the gin will go to The Captain Tom Foundation, which supports a range of UK charities. The decorative bottle has been etched with Captain Sir Tom’s iconic stance during his mammoth fundraising event in the summer.

Gemma Collins’ gin liqueur

The “queen of divas” has also released a festive drink. In true Collins style, the gin liqueur is described as “a bold and sparkly drink worthy of any diva”. FlaGINgo is a premium pour, with flavours of kiwi and lime, along with hints of juniper and forest fruits. It’s finished with a sprinkling of glitter.

Steve Thompson’s classic ale

Sporting hero Steve Thompson MBE features on the latest release from Powder Monkey Brewing. The former England and Northampton Saints rugby union player has lent his name to the Hop & Hooker pale ales produced by the brewery. This would make an ideal Christmas gift for sporting fans, perhaps along with their own personally engraved beer tankard.

Christmas 2020 may be a little more subdued than normal, but trying out some new drinks over the festive period is sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face.
